Brisbane Water

Brisbane Water (part of the Brisbane City Council) consumes a large amount of electricity in the operation of its network of water & sewerage pumping stations. To secure savings on its costs, Brisbane Water incorporates optional curtailability into its retail electricity contract.

To keep an eye on the way the NEM is operating, and hence the likelihood that they would be called by their retailer, Brisbane Water chooses to run NEM-Watch.
